holly is an australian award-winning artist, illustrator, comic artist & writer.
receiving a guggenheim fellowship at age 18, holly travelled the world as a leading contemporary artist and lived in new york for three years in the andy warhol foundation residency.
after performing in contemporary dance companies in berlin followed by a professional surfing/skateboarding career, holly is now settled in byron bay where she lives in a beachside ‘shack’ with her philanthropist husband and two beautiful, healthy children.
this is not true.
really, holly is an artist who lives in a studio in suffolk park and doesn’t do much else besides draw, drink tea, eat peaches and hang out with friends. she thinks this is a pretty good life too.
holly worked in the performing arts and screen industry until a car accident changed the course of her life at age 28. she eventually developed an art practice and in 2018 was short-listed for the ledger awards (australian comics award).
