My work is autobiographical, about my own personal experience, family and about the things society usually doesn’t talk about; shame, trauma, mental health, failing to achieve one’s hopes and dreams.
However, I can’t help but filter the tragedy of (my) life with humour. I find life so ridiculous sometimes, it makes for great storytelling.
And that is what I do with my work. I tell stories. Ones that seem relatable and helpful to some, entertaining to others and shocking to a few.
My creative style varies widely between each comic and zine I make, depending on the tone and material.
Drawing on my tiny desk is like therapy to me, with the intention to tell true tales that can educate and entertain with honesty and integrity.
You can purchase my comics & zines at Sticky Institute in Melbourne, or Quimby’s Bookstore in Chicago.
