Yes it’s good to be strong- but strong in yourself. In your way.
What cheesed me off the most was this book had a special event at a girls haven ‘future dreamers’ for teenagers.
They actually had an eating disorder support group going there at the time. I felt like this was a massive contradiction.
‘Future dreamers’ is run privately by a millionairess who is quite interested in style and appearance. Just look at the future dreamers Instagram account.
I’m not saying future dreamers doesn’t do excellent things. They have and do.
But sometimes I feel in the quest for coolness/status, true health & wellbeing get mixed up along the way.
